HOW TO FEED RAW MATERIAL & ARRANGE OPERATORS for MEPER MACHINE

When producing 6 layers hollow plastic bottles such as Tomato Ketchup, some manufactures care how to load raw material (HDPE, EVOH, Adhesive) into line. Honestly this is on interesting issue and let’s talk about it.

worker to do anything on it. *Storage 1:  Recycled material, no need *Storage 2:  For EVOH material, 300KG/500L tank, Need dryer , can feed by workers or by machine *Storage 3: For Glue (Adhesive material), 300KG/500L tank, 25Kgs package, can feed by workers or by machine *Storage 4: For Virgin material (Out and inner layer), use 1T HDPE package, No need tank

Suppose A:  General calculation for whole line based on per day working 24 hours:

Suppose average can weight (totally 4 sizes) is 0.15kg,  Line production capacity 1440 pcs/hour, then one day need total raw material :
0.15*1440*24= 5.184T (Totally 34560 bottles)
EVOH: 5%*5.184=300Kg, 12 bags (25kg per bag)
Adhesive: 5%*5.184=300kg, 12 bags (25kg per bag)
Virgin +recycled , all original will come from Virgin material, totally 90%, 4.66T, 4.19T, about 4 bags of 1T.

Suppose B: General calculation for whole line based on per day working 12 hours:
0.15*1440*12=2.59T (totally 17280 bottles)
EVOH: 5%*2.59=150kg, 6 bags
Adhesive: 6 bags
HDPE: 2.095T: about 2 bags of 1T

Workers role :
- 1^st worker: With technology for operating machines and know how to deal with emergency and maintain machines…

-2^nd worker: Deal with raw material (EVOH and glue), and when stackable cans reach some quantity, need to use forklift or use hoisting machine to remove them and load them on to truck etc…

-3^rd worker: For the whole project, if only one work knows how to operate machine, sometimes it has risk. If that worker has any changes, then nobody knows machine line well, the situation is not so benefit. So need one prentice to follow that work head…. From future sight running….

In Summary:
*For raw material feeding, can be down by worker&forklift, also can be done by special designed bag open machine (customized) if you need…
*For Workers, if considering stackable bottles moving and loading on to truck etc…
2 workers necessary; If considering future operation continuous situation, 3 workers maybe needed….
